A Trip to the Grocery Store in Argentina!

On the walk to the grocery store, Dr. Patschke passed this small cafe.
Local people were sitting outside enjoying the beautiful morning breeze.

This is a local supermarket in the city of Salta!

Fresh fruits and vegetables are easy to find!

Zapallito de Tronco or Zapallito Redondo is a round dark green
vegetable which has a taste similar to a zucchini.
It's actually a type of summer squash grown in South America!

The store cuts a large pumpkin and sells the soft interior by the slice.
Pumpkin is used in some delicious Argentine recipes!

The store is much smaller as compared to Wegman's or Giant!

The meats hang in a refrigerator.
A Butcher cuts the slices of meat as the customer makes the request.

Check this out! Milk is sold in bags!

What will we learn about next?
You'll find out soon!
Check back often and stay connected!
