Buenos Aires is the Capital City of Argentina
This is the PINK HOUSE viewed from Plaza de Mayo. It's thought of like the USA
White House in Washington, DC, but the Argentinean President doesn't actually live here.
She lives in the suburbs of the city.
The architecture has an interesting mix of European
influences as well as antique and modern structures.
Puente
De La Mujer (Bridge Of The Woman)
Floralis
Generica, or the Steel Flower
23 meters high and weights 18 tons
This cat has a jacket on with the
country flag and reads "Argentina!"
Motorcycles are everywhere!
On the sidewalks, in the streets, in the grass....all over!
I noticed many dog parks and
dogs out for walks in the city!
The Fulbright Commission of Argentina has hosted 8 school principals
from all over the USA during this trip. I'm in the middle. My newest principal friends
are from Indiana, Michigan, Maryland, North Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, and a few other familiar spots! Over the past 12 years, the Administrator Exchange program has connected
500 school leaders between the USA and Argentina!
What will we learn about next?
You'll find out soon!
Check back often and stay connected!
